I’m channeling my inner Star Wars geek to introduce myself to the blogsphere. I learn (and function) better after digesting things and putting them down on paper in my own words or thoughts, so this here blog is a tool for me to do just that.

My name is Kevin, and I am a network engineer by trade, a father of two wonderful kids by luck, and someone who just loves technology by fate. I’ve been in the IT industry for over a decade, and I have a BS in Information Technology from Florida State University (Go Noles!). I’ve done everything from desktop support to designing, configuring, and implementing wide area networks. I’m currently studying for the CCNP Security certification so I imagine most of the posts will be about that.
