15+ Years in the Trenches
I've been working in enterprise networking for over 15 years. I've designed, deployed, and troubleshot networks for organizations of all sizes — from small businesses to large enterprises. I've dealt with the 3am outages, the vendor calls that go nowhere, and the documentation that's always out of date.
At some point I started noticing that a lot of people in IT — even experienced ones — were struggling to understand concepts that aren't actually that hard once someone explains them properly. The problem isn't the technology. The problem is how it's taught.
Most networking education is either too academic (here's the RFC, good luck) or too vendor-specific (here's how to click through our GUI). Neither of those actually helps you understand what's happening on the wire.
So I started making content. Short, direct explanations of real networking concepts. No vendor speak. No marketing phrases. Just how things actually work, explained by someone who deals with them every day.
